Details: Please be aware! Scammers have been calling Accela users impersonating City of Tampa employees. They advise that the Accela system has glitched, a recent payment did not process, and ask for the full credit card information to make the payment again.

What this means for you: Please remember that the City of Tampa will never ask you for your full credit card information or to make a payment over the phone, via email, or text message.
